As Christ Church focuses on the “From our Family to Yours” outreach project, we remember that pets are family, too!  Pets provide unconditional love, comfort, stress relief, and other health benefits.  It is part of Animal Friends’ mission to keep pets in their homes–as part of the family–and they see every day that the love for a pet cannot be measured by what is in one’s wallet.  Animal Friends’ Chow Wagon program provides free pet food and supplies to those who are in need.  Last year alone, Animal Friends provided 203,487 lbs. of pet food to 39,365 families in need.  The Chow Wagon program relies on pet food donations to provide this community support.
