The Reverend Jack Brownfield grew up in Bethel Park and attended St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Mount Lebanon. After graduating from Princeton and Virginia Theological Seminaries, Fr. Jack served as Curate at St. Michael’s of the Valley, Ligonier. He was ordained a priest at St. Michael’s by Bishop Ketlen Solak and has additional church experience in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Maryland.

Outside of ministry, Fr. Jack loves reading, especially fiction and theology, cooking, and spending time outdoors, especially with his wife, Katelyn. Katelyn is an editor at a Christian book publishing company, an author, and an avid birdwatcher. Fr. Jack is thrilled to serve as Rector of Christ Church and would love to get to know you over a cup of coffee.
