“C” is for Compassion
Compassion is, at least in my opinion, a Christian challenge we all fail to at times to observe during the trials and tribulations which confront us during the final days before Christmas.
Let us be honest. Has anyone else found themselves not happy being stuck in Christmas season traffic?
Perhaps once in your life have you found yourself wondering about the intelligence of the checkout clerk at the local mall?
Is it just me or does anyone else find the media noise of advertising simply infuriating at times?
Now comes the hard question: why? Why do we allow ourselves to get upset about any of the above?
I know that requesting you to extend true love and to be compassionate to strangers is asking a lot. But I am going to ask anyway. Let us remember the words of 1 Peter 3:8
“Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.”
